Write up in OC Weekly RE:FOXY@ Ceros

This Saturday at Ceros for one night only, The Return of Foxy for only $5. John Maurer will not be on bass, filling in will be Stu West from The Damned who has played with Foxy on several European tours. Stu's flying in from England for BYO's Annual Punk Rock Bowling Tournament in Vegas the following weekend and made arrangements to do a special Foxy Show for us lucky Southern Californians. One of my all time favorite local bands. DAMN IT...TRIPLE DAMN IT that I already have plans on Sat. I hope this inspires LP to do another show or two. MOTHER F'N DAMN IT!!!

...and sorry you already have other plans, its going to be a great night. Alot of people are planning on coming out for it.
I've been trying to get LP and Greg to do this for years. I got a lightbulb in my head and asked Stu if he was up for it, he told me to run it by LP, she mulled it over. I called her a week later and she said yep, lets do it. Her twins are almost 2, so she decided to spare some of her mommy time for a few practices and a great evening. I dont know if it will inspire her to do more. I think this is a one off. If she does play again, it wont be for a while.
She runs 2 businesses has twins and is starting law school, so she has alot on her plate, but we'll see. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Sorry I didnt get to read this before. They played around 11:30ish. Did you ever make it down??
Guns Dont Argue played last night as well, and played the night before with Social D at the HOB. They're a really good band that I think alot of Social D fans would enjoy.
